STA Awards

SKILLS:

The skills awards are visual themed sea creatures and there are 3 levels in each step. The outcomes are clearly written on the certificates so the child’s progress and achievements are visible and clear.

DISTANCE:

Distance is also covered in the skills awards but swimmers in Group 2 upwards are assessed on specific distances.

Front and back paddle are suffice up to 20m.

25m+ swimmers have to demonstrate a recognised technique.

75m+ swimmers are assessed swimming the distance demonstrating competent technique in Front Crawl, Back Crawl and Breaststroke.
